As I write today’s article, it truly is hard to believe that we are already into the month of September. Sooner than we can imagine, leaves will be turning, the days will bring cooler temperatures, and we will even begin to shift our focus to 2022. Didn’t we just close the door (thankfully) on 2020? Time goes so fast!
The first thing I wanted to let you know is that in the coming weeks, we will be announcing our 2022 premium rates for the Alliance U.S. Health Plan! As you may (or may not) know, we have been incredibly blessed to offer extremely competitive renewals over these last several years, with low single-digit percentage increases for three straight years followed by a ZERO percent increase this past fall. Only through God’s kindness and provision have we been able to keep rate increases at such negligible amounts. It’s even more exciting when you think about the incredible enhancements we’ve added while keeping rates competitively low—like a new Health Savings Account provider, a new telemedicine benefit, and a wellness program that pays HSA dollars to participants! While we don’t yet know what our 2022 rates will be, we are hopeful for more great news for next year and additional benefit enhancements coming to the plan in the future. Stay tuned for more information in the weeks ahead!
Speaking of the wellness plan, those in the U.S. Health Plan should know that the deadline to register for our latest wellness campaign, “Find Your Fitness”, has been extended to Sept 6th. Sign up today at www.workpartners.com/cma for the opportunity to earn an additional 50 wellness points toward your 200 point goal for 2021! We are also pleased to offer our final “Lunch and Learn” webinar of the year entitled “Cooking Your Weigh To Better Health” on Sept 9th at 2 pm ET. Participants can earn up to 25 wellness points per webinar (maximum two webinars per year), and you can register here.
Finally, whether you are a current partner of Alliance Benefits or not, I want to make you aware of two unique opportunities to join our amazing team! With the relocation of the C&MA National Office on the horizon, these two open positions will be based out of the greater Columbus, OH area. We are currently looking for someone to fill the positions of Benefits Customer Care Representative and Marketing Coordinator. If you know of someone who might be interested in one of these two exciting roles, we’d love to talk to them!
As always, it is an honor and a pleasure to serve our Alliance family. We are so blessed to serve those bringing the gospel to our world, both here and abroad. We look forward to partnering with you all in the months and years ahead.
Grace and peace,
Curtis Farmer
