The material in this guide covers in detail both health and retirement benefits available to all eligible Alliance international workers. It also covers important topics such as how to submit your claims for processing, instructions for a 365-day supply of your prescriptions, and how your benefits work both while overseas and in the United States.

What’s New for 2020?

  • New claims administrator—Gilsbar replacing Meritain for claims administration and customer service
  • New medical network—Cigna® replacing Aetna. This means that U.S. medical visits should be scheduled with Cigna® network providers.
  • New vision plan and network when in the United States—EyeMed®
  • New dental plan and network when in the United States—Delta Dental®
  • You no longer need to track rolling five-year maximum for dental or vision coverage. Everyone gets a clean slate starting January 1, 2020.
  • Dental benefit is $1,250 maximum per person per calendar year.
  • New telemedicine service available to you and family members while in the United States
  • New medical/prescription, dental, and vision ID cards
  • New medical/prescription, dental, and vision online accounts
