PPP Loan Forgiveness Updates

By Crista Murray, Alliance Benefits

In early July, the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) took a quick poll asking members, “What is your ministry’s single greatest resource need at this time?”. The overwhelming response was for more guidance surrounding the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan forgiveness rules. ECFA once again delivered an excellent webinar on this topic. Over 2,000 ministry leaders have already participated in watching, and we also invite you to join in! Expect to receive a comprehensive update and commentary on the latest developments—focusing on walking through the loan forgiveness process with integrity.

Guest presenter and ECFA board member, Michael Batts, CPA, is one of the top experts in the nation on this subject and provides a thorough and easy-to-understand overview of key points, including:

  • PPP loan forgiveness details
  • Public disclosure of borrower information
  • Provisions of the PPP Flexibility Act and other related topics

To Access the Webinar (anyone can participate for free)

  1. Go to PPP Loan Forgiveness Updates: Cutting Through the Confusion.
  2. Click on the Login/Register button in the top right-hand corner to log in or create a free ECFA account.
  3. Once logged in or registered, scroll down and select the Register Now button (this is a free webinar, so there is no need to enter your payment details).
  4. The webinar will appear on your screen, ready for you to watch!

ECFA’s vision is to enhance trust in all Christ-centered churches and ministries as they fulfill the Great Commission. We hope you find this webinar a helpful resource, as so many of you continue to navigate through these muddy waters. Feel free to contact Alliance Benefits if you have questions or trouble accessing the webinar. We are always happy to help.
