Earlier this week, Alliance Benefits announced some exciting news for our US health plan participants. After careful consideration and extensive research, we have selected a new Health Savings Account provider. As of October 1, 2019, Lively ( will partner with the Christian and Missionary Alliance to provide a modern, user-friendly HSA to our participants.

This decision to change providers was not taken lightly. We have taken quite a bit of time to find the right provider that we believe is a great fit for our plan and our members. Lively is the “#1 User Rated HSA Provider”, focusing on great user experience and excellent customer service. They offer a modern HSA experience while keeping data secure and safe.

For investing, Lively is integrated with TD Ameritrade’s self-directed brokerage platform, giving users access to over 300 commission-free ETFs, over 13,000 mutual funds, stock, bonds, CDs, etc. Regardless of what a participant’s investment strategy is, they will have several options to construct an ideal portfolio for their situation. The participant will also be able to easily access their investments directly from within their Lively account using Single Sign-On, so there’s no need for a separate login.

With Lively’s many resources available (mobile app, calculators, live chat service, substantial qualified expenses list…and much more), we believe our participants will have what they need readily at their fingertips and will be in great hands regarding their HSA.
