Who Is Eligible to Enroll
- You must be employed by an eligible employer within a participating district
- You must be active, full-time employees and paid to work 20 hours or more a week
- You may be either an official worker or another employee such as an assistant, janitor, church school worker, etc
When You Can Enroll
- You may enroll at Open Enrollment, or within 30 days of a Qualifying Event
- If your church is enrolling employees for the first time, you may choose the first of any month; you do not have to wait for Open Enrollment
- You may enroll your spouse and dependent children either when you enroll, at Open Enrollment, or within 30 days of a Qualifying Event
- Open Enrollment is the only time a participant may change plan options (for example, from Plan A to High Deductible Plan)
- If you enroll yourself or your family member(s) more than 30 days after a qualifying event, a six-month waiting period will apply
